If you are as well, read on. 😊<h2>Pepsi and Pretzels: Wetzel's Pretzels Arrives at Walmart in Roseville! </h2>Yesterday, I went into Walmart to try to pick up a mesh bag of the tiny pumpkins which they had earlier in the month. Sadly they were out of them. BUT HAPPILY, I discovered they had just added a new eatery in their Pleasant Grove store at the opposite end of the store from the Poke Restaurant. We now officially have a Wetzel Pretzel Walmart on Pleasant Grove in Roseville! Even better! It not only has yummy pretzels, it has PEPSI! That is a rare treat in fast food options as well, and another big favorite of mine. I still miss McDonald's! But this will make me a happy camper when I get my oil changes done. How about you? <h2>Sweet Surprise: Cherry Coke Now Available at In-N-Out! 🍒</h2>I popped into the Lincoln In-N-Out the other day after enjoying a fun soccer game with friends and discovered something new to me – Cherry Coke at the drink station! I was thrilled and asked the sweet young man who had helped me if I was correct that was new and he confirmed it. Apparently it was added late last year – 2023, along with a lite-pink-lemonade. I then asked if it was just their location or all the others. I was SO happy to hear it should be in all In-N-Outs.And apparently, I'm not the only Cherry Coke fan. While doing research on this, I discovered Amazon has some really cute Cherry Coke T-Shirts! Who knew! Click my aff link to check them out! 😊 🍒😊 🍒😊 🍒Roseville Traffic Updates: New Traffic Lights Including Two With Flashing Yellow Arrow SignalsThere are new traffic signals in Roseville CA that have been installed at Stone Point Drive and North Sunrise Avenueas well as at Stone Point Drive and Rocky Ridge Drive! They are a wee bit different than most. They have flashing yellow left turn arrows that help keep traffic moving.According to the city of Roseville, “When the yellow arrow flashes, drivers must yield to oncoming traffic and bicyclists. When there is a safe gap in traffic, proceed to make the left turn with caution. Remember, oncoming traffic has a green light.The signal still provides the comfort of a protected, or solid, left turn arrow during heavy oncoming traffic. For safety, the signal will turn red when the pedestrian crossing button is pushed.”With these two new signals, Roseville now has a total of 12 locations in the city with these particular signals. I use one regularly along Industrial near my church and it seems to work well there. But do be cautious. I have an elderly relative who had a very. hard time. understanding them.There is also a new traditional traffic signal that was just activated at with more to be installed in that area starting in December.<h2>Nugget Market and More: Exciting New Shopping Center is Making Progress </h2>Last week I shared the good news about the new Costco making progress in West Roseville. This week I was happy to read a post by Bill Halldin, Rocklin City Council Member, that the Nugget In Rocklin is moving along as well. It will be part of a large shopping center coming to Whitney Ranch in Rocklin.According to the City of Rocklin's Aegis StoryMap, the center will contain “10 buildings totaling approximately 94,500 square feet, and occupying an approximately 18-acre area. As designed, the eastern portion of the retail center will feature Nugget Market and retail shop spaces within a series of five buildings. The western portion of the center will be more highway-commercial oriented, with anticipated single tenant uses such as a possible gas station, fast food or quick serve restaurants, and others.”Very exciting news! During some research, I came across information about an Alpine climbing gym that had been mentioned a while back but seemed to be in limbo. Curious if they were still planning to come to Roseville, I reached out to them directly. According to Mayor Janda's latest newsletter update, the work will start THIS MONDAY, October 21, 2024 and they hope to complete it by June 2025. They will be working on the road Monday – Friday from 8am to 3pm. “While two-way traffic will remain open during construction, delays are expected. We encourage residents and families with students in the area to plan ahead and consider alternative routes to minimize disruptions. Flaggers will be stationed to assist pedestrians crossing through the construction area.
