LeBron James has completed his preseason and will next take the court for the Los Angeles Lakers' regular-season opener on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He skipped the Lakers' recent preseason game against the Phoenix Suns to rest, as confirmed by head coach JJ Redick, who humorously referenced an old Gregg Popovich decision to rest Tim Duncan due to age.

James will also miss the Lakers' preseason finale against the Golden State Warriors, giving him a full week of rest before the season begins. At 39 years old, James participated in three preseason games, averaging 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in just over 18 minutes per game.

His shooting percentages were solid, with 46.9% from the field and 57.1% from beyond the arc. The upcoming season will mark James' 22nd in the NBA, tying Vince Carter for the longest career in league history.
