West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University football team sent the large homecoming crowd of 4,352 home happy Saturday with a 21-9 win over West Virginia Wesleyan at West Family Stadium. Hilltoppers quarterback Levi Gullion finished the day with three touchdown passes. He got the Toppers on the scoreboard in the second quarter with an 81-yard touchdown pass to Ben Turner, to give them a 7-3 lead at the half. WLU opened the second half on a 13-play 82-yard drive that ended in a Gullion to Marquez Hurst three-yard touchdown for a 14-3 WLU advantage. The Toppers would build their lead to 21-3 early in the fourth quarter on a Gullion to Will Balgo 14-yard touchdown toss.
