The Lions drop to 2-11 (1-8 NE10) and the Penmen improve to 12-1 (9-0 NE10).</p><p>How it Happened</p><ul><li>Southern New Hampshire's Annemartine Christis scored late in the first quarter, scoring off her own rebound to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage.</li><li>Kayla Lipscomb made four crucial saves in the second quarter, keeping the Lions within one heading into halftime.</li><li>In the 41st minute, Anne Wiersma extended the Penmen's lead to 2-0 with a goal following a corner, assisted by Jade Hendriks.</li><li>The Lions' defense held strong, fending off four corners in just two minutes, with Lipscomb adding five more saves.</li><li>The Lions earned a corner as time expired in the fourth quarter but couldn't convert on the opportunity.</li><li>Lipscomb finished the match with 16 saves in net.</li></ul><p>The Lions will host the Adelphi University Panthers this Wednesday (Oct. 23) at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Park.</p></div></body>
