ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern men's soccer team scored early and often to send their seniors off with a 6-1 win over the Doane Tigers on Saturday night. On a fastbreak play a mere nine minutes in, Gonzalo Domingo crossed the ball into the box, looking for Alex Ruiz when Doane inadvertently found the ball in the right corner, giving Northwestern a 1-0 advantage. The Raiders added on to their lead minutes later when Pol Foix found Stan van den Beld for his first of two goals on the night. Northwestern added another later in the half, as Drew Darnold took a deflection off the keeper and knocked in his fourth goal of the season, giving the Raiders a 3-0 lead heading into the break.
