It seems the core exterior signage is being handled in a way so that on (or around) November 22nd, the new signage will be unveiled at all locations.The reason for all this activity is in April of this year the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities closed Republic Bank, which at the time had 32 branches. (Image: Google)</figcaption></figure><h2>Fulton Bank Retail Branch Closings</h2>Consider that before this acquisition, Fulton and Republic banks were competitors, and it’s completely understandable that there would be situations where both banks would have been operating branches within the same communities.But with all of the branches of both Fulton and Republic being part of the same company, in those areas where there are now multiple Fulton locations (Fulton plus Republic) they are consolidating locations by closing one the the locations in that area.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=0OWpxW_0wEPvUBr00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0OWpxW_0wEPvUBr00" width="1200" height="900" ><figcaption>Fulton Bank Location in Washington Twp is closing on Nov 22nd</figcaption></figure>A perfect example of this is in Washington Township, where on Egg Harbor Road both Fulton and Republic operated bank branches about a mile and a half from each other. Being in close proximity and having easy/direct road access between the two branches just minutes away, it just didn’t make sense for Fulton to keep both bank locations open in that area.With the decision to close branches, it’s clear that Fulton made the preference to keeping the newer modern glass Republic branches… and the upcoming closures of nine branches are all the older brick-building Fulton branches.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=4OR6UY_0wEPvUBr00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4OR6UY_0wEPvUBr00" width="1200" height="900" ></figure><h2>Fulton Branding Transition In-Process</h2>I stopped in at the Washington Township former Republic Bank branch last week to find that changes have already taken place to the building.One style change we’ll see with the branch conversions is that Republic used RED for its distinctive theme and logo, whereas Fulton Bank is a darker BLUE.So inside the Washington Township branch they’ve already changed up the interior, particularly the back wall of the bank teller area being change to the dark blue, as well as adding the Fulton Bank naming logo.<figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1KhHE4_0wEPvUBr00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1KhHE4_0wEPvUBr00" width="1200" height="900" ><figcaption>The former Republic Building in Washington Twp has seen its interior switched from red-focused to Fulton Bank Blue.</figcaption></figure>Interior signage and promotional materials also now carry the Fulton branding and blue color scheme. The stylized carpeting carries the blue coloring.There’s also a blue tint to the upper section of the estimated 20 foot high front glass walls, which actually comes from a change on the outside.Consider that exterior signage for likely 30 former Republic Bank locations needs to change, and preferably all within a very short time frame (if not the same day).
