Bethany (6-5-3, 3-3-1 PAC) and Waynesburg University sit just below the Gators in a two-way tie for fifth with 10 points.Allegheny scored first in the 11th minute and carried a 1-0 advantage into the locker room at halftime. Delaney David (Cleveland, Ohio/Brooklyn) netted the game's first goal following a great string of passes through the midfield. Emma Miller (Elyria, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) received the ball just outside the penalty area and played it back to Olivia Wilson (Mars, Pa./Mars), who then fed David into the right side of the box. David's shot from the right side beat Bethany keeper Mathelyn Ruiz to the far post.The Bison evened the score in the 66th minute, but Miller and Katherine Surdykowski (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional) connected on a corner kick in the 82nd minute. Miller's corner kick sailed to center field, and the 5-foot-8 Surdykowski jumped over the Bethany defense to head in the game-winner.Inside the Box Score<ul><li>Allegheny finished with a slight advantage in shots, 16-to-14.</li><li>The Gators had nearly twice as many shots on goal, 12-to-7.</li><li>Allegheny received five corner kicks, while the Bison had none.</li><li>David and Surdykowski each scored once for the Gators.</li><li>Miller also had two points with a pair of assists.</li><li>Wilson added one assist to round out Allegheny's offense.</li><li>In goal, Madison Lemanski (Bear, Del./Delaware Military Academy) made six saves.</li><li>Jada Benjamin netted Bethany's lone tally in the 66th minute.</li></ul>News and Notes<ul><li>Allegheny improved to 8-6-1 overall and 4-2-1 against PAC opponents.</li><li>The Gators are now 3-0-0 against Bethany since joining the PAC, and both games in Bethany, West Virginia, have ended with a 2-1 score.</li><li>With two assists, Miller is now tied for the team lead with seven.</li><li>Surdykowski's goal was her seventh, while David scored her fourth of the year.</li></ul>Allegheny hosts Franciscan University on Wednesday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m. on the lights at the Robertson Athletic Complex blue turf.</div></body>
