Florida shoppers, take note. TreeHouse Foods, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of several frozen waffle products sold at popular retail stores like Walmart, Target and Aldi's. The recall, which was acknowledged in a release, comes after routine testing at the company's facility detected a potential Listeria monocytogenes issue.

According to the news release, the affected products were distributed across the United States, including Florida. Consumers can identify the recalled items by checking the UPC on the back of the carton and the Lot Code and Best By Date on the package end.

TreeHouse Foods reports no sicknesses linked to these products at this time. For a full list of recalled products, please click here || Click here for images of recalled products

However, the company recommends that residents check their freezers for recalled waffles. If found, consumers should either throw out the products or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

For those with questions, TreeHouse Foods has set up a customer service line at 800-596-2903. The line is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST.

This recall is being conducted with the cooperation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. All shoppers, including Floridians, are encouraged to stay informed about this and other food safety notices to ensure their household's well-being.

How about a stimulus check for how much food we throw out.

These off brand products seem to be produced in unsanitary factories.
