Pickleball club to open at 1200 White Street in Atlanta’s West End

Dill Dinkers, a rapidly expanding pickleball franchise, is set to open the doors to its first metro Atlanta location in early 2025.

The pickleball club will occupy a 35,891-square-foot space at the 1200 White Street development in West End.

Once open, the new facility will feature 11 individually-fenced courts with Pro-Cushion surfaces, spaces for events, along with a pro shop to stock up on gear.

The West End club will also serve as Dill Dinkers’ Atlanta flagship location, where it will provide training and support for franchisees.

In addition to the West End spot (along with locations in Maryland, Washington, DC., Connecticut, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas), the pickleball franchise says that it will look into expanding in other areas across Atlanta in the future.

“We’re excited to come to the West End, a neighborhood with a strong sense of community. We pride ourselves in being part of the community, bringing people together and providing a comfortable place for people to play,” Daniel Hardeman, regional developer for Dill Dinkers, said in a news release.

The lease was brokered by Ackerman Retail senior vice presidents Suzanne Shank and Kelly Wilson, representing 1200 White Street property owners Ackerman & Co. and Baltisse.

The addition of Dill Dinkers is part of the 1200 White Street property’s ongoing plans of remodelling into a mixed-use development, providing space for retailers, restaurants, creative offices, experiential concepts and more.

Evan Ziegler, president of Investments for Ackerman & Co., expressed his excitement about Dill Dinkers’ expansion into Atlanta’s West End.

“Dill Dinkers is a great addition to 1200 White Street and the West End community. The popularity of pickleball has really taken off, and this will be a state-of-the-art club providing a fun recreational option,” said Ziegler.
