(WLCSports.com) –</b> Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fourth at the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Concordia Wisconsin's campus course, while four other Warriors competed at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational at Maple Grove Venues, LLC on Saturday.</p><p>Senior Will Caldwell (Milwaukee, Wis.) led WLC at the Private College Championships with a 10th-place finish and 8K time of 27:54.0. Sophomore Noah Micheel (Mequon, Wis.) was 15th with a time of 28:15.8. Junior Jack Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) was 22nd with a time of 28:41.1, and sophomore Jonathan Abel (Fort Atkinson, Wis.) was 24th with a time of 28:48.8. Senior Carter Moski (Machesney Park, Ill.) completed Wisconsin Lutheran's team score in 33rd place with a time of 29:32.4.</p><p>Meet host Concordia Wisconsin had four of the top-8 finishers to take home the six-team scoring title with 29 points. Timmy Brey of Concordia Wisconsin won the 64-runner 8K race with a time of 25:52.1.</p><p>At the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse, senior Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed 21st out of 279 finishers with an 8K time of 25:52.2 for Wisconsin Lutheran. Senior Adam Kriefall (New Berlin, Wis.) was 63rd with a time of 26:49.3, junior Josh Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) was 84th with a time of 27:23.0, and sophomore Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) was 125th with a time of 28:15.3.</p><p>Invite host UW-La Crosse had five of the top-7 finishers for 23 points to claim the 20-team scoring title. Mohammed Bati won the 8K race with a time of 24:06.0.</p><p>The Warriors have a week off before competing in the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships on Saturday, November 2.
