Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Nick Chubb, Jerry Jeudy

The Cleveland Browns ' offense has been a dumpster fire with quarterback Deshaun Watson under center, which has no doubt impeded the production of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The Browns will be getting back a key member of their offense this week, though, as running back Nick Chubb is making his long-awaited return.

In the Week 6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles , Jeudy had just one catch for 35 yards, and he has just two catches for 51 yards the last two weeks.

Chubb was designated to return from the physically unable to perform list a few weeks back but was only activated on Saturday , with head coach Kevin Stefanski saying the star running back would indeed suit up .

But are we trusting Chubb in his first game back in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals? And will Jeudy see a big enough boost from a recent Browns trade to garner consideration in lineups this week? Let's find out.

Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Nick Chubb

While Chubb has been cleared to play and is typically a must-start RB1, you might want to hold off on inserting him into lineups right away. That's because his workload remains unknown.

Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey called the decision on Chubb's workload "a work in progress" during the week, while adding that the team wants to "make sure that he's available for the long term."

Not exactly the definitive answer we were looking for, but it's a good hint that the Browns star will be limited, which makes sense considering this is his first game in over a year.

Even in a matchup against a Bengals defense that is bottom-12 in fantasy points per game ceded to running backs, Chubb is nothing more than a big-play, touchdown-dependent flex in his first game back.

That's not enough to depend on, barring the most desperate situations.

    Verdict: Sit Chubb

With Amari Cooper traded to the Buffalo Bills , Jeudy becomes the No. 1 option in the wide receivers room in Cleveland. However, that role wasn't fruitful for the more talented Cooper, who ranked as WR46 overall in fantasy points per game before being traded.

While there is renewed optimism in Jeudy this week, he's facing a Bengals defense surrendering the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and he still has Deshaun Watson as his quarterback.

Jeudy isn't a suggested starting option until we see actually see him benefit from moving up the depth chart.

    Verdict: Sit Jeudy
