    2 teens in custody after vehicle crashes into South Side convenience store

    CHICAGO (WGN) — Two teens are in police custody after a vehicle slammed into a South Side convenience store overnight Saturday.

    According to the Chicago Police Department, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old boy were taken into custody after officers responded to an auto accident in the 7400 block of South Vincennes Avenue around 12:10 a.m.

    Police said their initial investigation showed a black sedan jumped the curb and hit a convenience store, but the two teenage boys were not injured in the crash.

    No other information is available at this time.
