<div><p>Oct. 19—BEAVER SPRINGS — A Snyder County resident has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award for her work.</p><p>Ashlee Kreamer, of Beaver Springs, received the highest award in Girl Scouting for establishing a prayer garden and free-standing library at River Christian Fellowship.</p><p>Kreamer devoted a minimum of 80 hours to problem-solve, plan and implement her ideas for change, according to Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania.</p><p>The Gold Award is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn, available to girls in high school who create sustainable change for a community or world issue.</p></div>
