According to the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY), this year officially marks 121 years since Koreans arrived in America and since then the organization has fostered cultural awareness. </p><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=4afXW1_0wEZByKb00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4afXW1_0wEZByKb00" width="2048" height="1367" ></figure><p>Created in 1980, the Korean Day Parade has been heralded as one of the largest events celebrating Korean culture. The ceremony ran from 38th Street and 6th Avenue to 31 Street, with festivities on 32nd Street.
