While this may be an emotional game for some, Saquon Barkley arrived ready for business ahead of his return to MetLife Stadium . It’s here that he was drafted by the New York Giants and spent his first six seasons, solidifying his status as one of the NFL's top running backs.

Now with the Philadelphia Eagles , Barkley faces a formidable Giants defensive line led by Dexter Lawrence—an opponent he knows well. His early arrival at the stadium ahead of Sunday’s clash quickly garnered significant attention from fans and media alike.

The relationship between Barkley and the Giants didn't end on a high note. He never received an offer from New York and ultimately signed with their NFC East rival, the Eagles. Now, he views the Giants as the opposition and is eager to put on a show in MetLife Stadium, a place where he had many memorable performances during his time in New York.

Barkley was a two-time Pro Bowler during his tenure with the Giants, achieving three seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards despite some being hindered by injuries. He rushed for a total of 5,211 yards and 35 touchdowns, while also catching 288 passes for 12 receiving touchdowns during his time with Big Blue.

However, he hasn't lost a step in his six weeks with the Eagles. So far this season, he has accumulated 482 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and 14 receptions for one receiving touchdown.

As a true workhorse for the Philadelphia offense, Barkley will need to maintain that success, especially as the Eagles have faced some struggles in recent weeks. His presence will command significant attention, and if he gains momentum, the Giants could find it challenging to contain their former teammate.
