Southern Indiana won the race as a team with a total team time of 1:49.50.Hannah Wells did what she's done for much of her IU Kokomo career, leading the Cougars with a strong 53rd place finish amongst a stout field. Her time of 23:29.9 was a season 6k season best.Freshman Alysha Crouch continued her impressive start to her collegiate career, finishing 82nd with a personal best time of 24:38.2. Crouch's time was a 1:21 PR and made her the fastest freshman and fifth-fastest student-athlete ever in program history.Leslie Sprankles was the third IUK runner to finish at Angel Mounds, crossing the line with a 6k season best time of 25:02.1, good for 94th.The Cougars fourth and final runner was Maddie Dotlich, as she finished her first career 6k with a time of 30:05.8.Head coach Josh Colvin's Cougars will compete next weekend in Grand Rapids for the 2024 NAIA Great Lakes Challenge at Riverside Park, the final meet of the regular season.For the latest news, updates, and information on the IU Kokomo Cougars, fans can visit IUKCougars.com.
