HAMMOND, La.- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (4-3, 2-2) fell to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions (4-4, 3-0) by a final score of 24-23. The Lumberjacks won only their second coin toss of the year and elected to defer to the second half giving the defense their first chance of the game to flex their muscles. The Lumberjacks defense stood tall forcing a Lions punt. The offense then got their first chance of the game mounting a 12-play 73-yard touchdown drive capped off as Sam Vidlak connected with Jordan Nabors for a 22-yard touchdown pass.
