    Top 5 Plays of Week 9: Bruising runs and record-breaking performances highlight

    YOUNGSTOWN , Ohio (WKBN) — Playoffs are looming in the Valley as we conclude Week Nine with many highlight performances for our Top Five Plays of the Week.

    Play No. 5 : Titusville vs. Sharon . Sharon’s Terrian White rushes and muscles to the endzone on a 16-yard touchdown. Sharon takes the Region Four Title and wins, 63-22.

    Play No. 4 : Maplewood vs. Greenville . Greenville’s Nick Solderich fields a punt and finds a lane for a 58-yard punt return touchdown. Greenville wins, 50-20.

    Play No. 3 : Sebring vs. Southington Chalker in eight-man football. Southington’s Colton Levensky dodges two tacklers and rushes for a 37-yard touchdown. Southington rolls, 40-8.

    Play No. 2 : Boardman vs. Austintown Fitch in WKBN’s Game of the Week. Fitch’s Deon’Dray Richard rushes for a 62-yard touchdown as he ended the game with 194 rushing yards and two TDs. Fitch wins, 45-28.

    Play No. 1 : Leetonia vs. East Palestine. East Palestine’s Owen Jurjavcic rushes up the middle for a 44-yard touchdown. The Bulldog’s quarterback broke Jim Lindner’s 68-year-old school record for single-season rushing touchdowns in the win. Jurjavcic helps East Palestine win, 52-26, and earns our Top Play of Week Nine.
