Repeat offenders will be liable for increased fines, especially for parking tickets issued for downtown and residential parking violations.</p><p>But folks who pay the $40 fines are eligible for a 50 percent discount if they pay the fine within 7 days.</p><p>Also, tickets for illegally parking in a handicapped spot will now carry a $150 fine.</p><h2>Changes Follow Passage Of A City Council Ordinance</h2><p>The new fine structure was approved by the Laramie City Council earlier this year.
