We continue to be the most dangerous under the radar team and if we bring our top five to the line healthy, we can surprise a lot of people in two weeks."Ladinig clocked a season-best time, covering the 8,000-meter layout in 25 minutes, 20.9 seconds to finish sixth overall. The senior sat 12th overall after the first 1,000-meters of racing before methodically moving up the pack and into the top ten."Owen was a real bright spot, beating and running near some of the fastest guys in the conference on an uneven course when not feeling 100 percent. He's running well and no one in the conference will be able to rest easy knowing he's coming for them."Kai Sorensen was the second Lute in the finisher's chute, placing 35th overall in 26:59.1. Daniel Zimmer was 59th in 28:24.6 followed by Corban Piper in 74th in 29:32.3. Jonathan Ochoa rounded out the PLU scoring five, placing 86th in 30:28.8. Noah Friederich was 91st in 31:09.6.The Lutes tallied 183 points to place seventh as a squad, finishing 12 points shy of Pacific University and 54-point ahead of the Husky Run Club. Northwest Conference rival Whitman College won the team title with 54 points. Host Lewis &amp; Clark College was second with 68 points with the Pioneers' Evan Markelz taking top honors after finishing in 24:51.9. Pacific Lutheran returns to Oregon in two weeks, racing at the 2024 NWC Championships in Salem, Oregon. </div></body>
