Cleveland Browns fans for the most part have tried their level best to defend quarterback Deshaun Watson despite all the off-field trouble, and on-field disasters. The Browns are now the only team at the NFL or FBS level to fail to score 20 points in a single game, and as much as those fans might have hoped that Watson would bring some spice to Kevin Stefanski's offense.

Whatever that spice may be, you don't want to use it at all. Yuck.

Now, as we saw in the pregame introductions at Huntington Bank Field before Cleveland's Sunday game against the in-state rival Cincinnati Bengals — the Browns' home stadium — the bloom is decidedly off the rose. Especially in comparison to the crowd response for running back Nick Chubb, playing in his first game since Week 2 of the 2023 season after recovering from a brutal knee injury.

If that doesn't convince team owner Jimmy Haslam to let everybody involved put Watson on the bench where he belongs, we're not sure what will.
