The Cleveland Browns have had no shortage of injury issues so far this season, and that continued in the Week 7 game against the Cincinnati Bengals after quarterback Deshaun Watson went down with an injury in the second quarter.

Watson has struggled mightily this season, which is a big reason behind the team's 1-5 start. It has been perplexing to watch Watson play football, as he was once an up-and-coming star but has looked like a shell of himself since coming to the Browns.

But Watson now has an injury issue, as the veteran quarterback went down with a non-contact injury in the second quarter against the Bengals on Sunday. Here's the latest update.

    Deshaun Watson injury update

UPDATE: Watson has officially been ruled out with an Achilles injury, and it is believed to be a season-ending one, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

    End of update

UPDATE: Watson has been carted off the field and was quite emotional as he made his way to the back. It's very clear Watson's injury is serious, although it remains unclear exactly what he suffered.

    End of update

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Watson went down with a non-contact injury in the second quarter and looked distraught, with his head in his hands. The exact injury remains unknown as of this writing.

A non-contact injury usual means a serious injury. Watson will be replaced by Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is active over Jameis Winston for the Week 7 game.

We'll update this page as more information becomes available.
