California's eBay Unveils Special McLaren F1 Team Project Car Ahead of US Grand Prix in Texas

eBay has announced a unique collaboration project car to honor the McLaren Formula 1 Team and its impressive performance in the 2024 F1 season. This classic American muscle car made its debut just in time for the team’s first return to the US since their inaugural win in Miami earlier this season. Fans and local car enthusiasts got an exclusive first look when McLaren driver Lando Norris arrived in the modified vehicle at Circuit of the Americas on Thursday, ahead of the US Grand Prix.

The modifications include a coilover conversion for front and rear suspension, forged disc brakes, performance headers and exhaust system, motorsports-style bucket seats, and an updated lighting system, among others. Matt Dennington, Co-Chief Commercial Officer of McLaren Racing, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the team's commitment to sharing this experience with fans.

The Barracuda is on display at the eBay x McLaren F1 Team Garage in the Fan Field of the US Grand Prix throughout the weekend.
