(Oct. 19, 2024)</i> - Alvernia Men's Cross Country posted six new personal-records on Saturday as the Golden Wolves took 11th in the field of 20t teams at the Gettysburg Aubrey Shenk Invitational.</p><p>Alvernia had eight runners compete on the 8K course on Saturday morning. Spencer Hahn led the Alvernia contingent with a personal-record time of 26:24.9 to take 24th overall. Hahn bettered his previous PR by just under two seconds.</p><p>James Henry took second for Alvernia and 60th overall with a time of 27:10.5, and Zackary Wendel was right behind Henry for a 61st place time of 27:11.5. Both Henry and Wendel posted new PRs. </p><p>Sam Martinez took fourth for Alvernia and 106th overall with a personal-record time of 28:06.2, and Nathan Smeltz took 132nd with a personal-record time of 28:46.7. </p><p>Ryan Dennison and Younes Naimi rounded out Alvernia's counting runners on Saturday. Dennison finished in 167th with a personal-record time of 29:53.4, and Naimi took 198th with a time of 31:49.6. </p><p>Today marked Alvernia's final competition before the MAC Championship at Messiah on November 2nd.</p></div></body>
