The second-round pick was thought to be a foundational part of the rebuild but has been an anchor holding down the offense instead. </p><p>His recent Instagram post implies Polk's willingness to get a fresh start. The late, great Rich Homie Quan's song "God Ain't Forget About Me" features lyrics suggesting most have given up, though Polk's faith may help him pull through. </p><p>This is a highly-coveted prospect who shined at Washington, catching 69 passes for 1,159 yards and 10 TDs from scrimmage for a College Football Playoff squad. For Polk's rookie season to have gotten off so poorly is certainly an indictment on him, but it's an indication of the organizational mess as well. </p><p>No second-round 22-year-old playmaker should be dealing with this kind of stress and feelings of inadequacy. Polk needs to improve, but so does nearly every other player on the roster. The Patriots are perhaps the worst team in the NFL - that's not Polk's fault. </p><p>Whether or not the talented receiver wants out remains to be seen.
