Waterloo, IA - The 13th-ranked Illinois Central College Volleyball team (24-12, 6-1) had a short turnaround on their hands on Saturday afternoon. After a road match in Hillsboro, Missouri on Friday night, the Cougars returned home and hopped right back on the bus to Waterloo, Iowa on Saturday to take on both the host Hawkeye Redtails and a ranked opponent, the D1 #19 Indian Hills Warriors. The Cougars rebounded from the Friday loss with a sweep of the Redtails in the opener, but the Warriors would return the result in the finale, also in three sets. It officially opens the door for the highly-anticipated ICC-Heartland match on Wednesday, October 23rd. The winner gets home-court advantage for the "Central District B" Tournament on Saturday, November 9th.
