Utah suffered another defeat on Saturday night, dropping to 4-3 overall after a 13-7 TCU win. The Utes have now lost three straight games, two of which were at home. Fans booed the team as they left for the locker room at halftime, with TCU sporting a 10-0 lead.

Utes head coach Kyle Whittingham addressed fans' frustrations and the home crowd booing at halftime on Saturday.

"Fans pay their money. They have a right to do whatever they want," Whittingham said. "Yeah, they paid money for the tickets, and if they're not happy, and that's the way they want to react."

"These guys have played a lot of good football through the years and given them many positive things to be excited about, but certainly in the last few games have not been anything to be excited about for those guys. Two of them being at home."

Whittingham will attempt to pick up the pieces and lead the Utes to a bounce-back win when they travel to face Houston this Saturday.

Any team in any sport that relies so heavily on one player is in serious trouble when that one player gets a boo boo. Any coach that does NOT have a plan B is a FOOL. Utah went from 10th to no rank at all. PU

Relying totally on Rising was a fatal error that should have been a known. Causing Barnes to leave the team and now stuck with an untested and unreliable freshman. Send Tiding packing!
