Inargueblt, Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has been every bit as advertised through six weeks. He has led his team to a 4-2 record and has looked like a franchise quarterback while doing it.

What’s the one thing that might drag him down? The one thing that just happened.

Early in Sunday’s game against the Panthers, Daniel ‘s slammed his helmet to the ground as he sustained an injury that appears to be related to his ribs. He left the field to go to the blue medical tent and then exited to get x-rays.

Under Daniels, the Commanders have the second-best scoring offense in football (29.7 points per game); he's thrown for 1,404 yards, six touchdowns, and just two interceptions. He's also rushed for 322 yards and four touchdowns. Add to that his 75.3 completion percentage, a 107.1 passer rating, and a 73,7 QB.

Is that an MVP-type start to the season?

Up here are the 1-5 Carolina Panthers, and Daniels has had early success today, including a 46-yard run.

He is going up against the worst defense in football (33.8 points allowed per game), and the Panthers' unit has also given up over 349 total yards in each game this season.

Or, for the moment - as Commander fans all hold their breath - we should say he was going against the Panthers.
