Justin Dedich played every position on the offensive line for the USC Trojans . He was one of the heartbeats of the team and a team captain.

He went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft but was scooped up by the local Los Angeles Rams as a UDFA. On the Rams LAFB Show , we talked about him having one of the best shots to make the team, even as a UDFA, because of the versatility he had in college.

If the Rams got struck by the injury bug (which obviously they have), Dedich had the ability to plug and play just about anywhere.

Well, he didn’t make the initial 53-man roster, but he was retained on the practice squad.

After Jonah Jackson was put on IR, former 3rd-round pick Logan Bruss was given his first opportunity in the big leagues. Per PFF , in 195 snaps at guard, Bruss registered a 7.2 pass-blocking grade. That’s not great.

During the bye week, Justin Dedich began taking reps with the first team, and now he is getting his first NFL start against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Last season with USC, Dedich finished with a 62.0 overall grade, and a 72.0 pass-blocking grade, per PFF .

He will be going up against a Raiders defensive line that is without star Christian Wilkins, so he should be able to hold his own in the interior.

    Congrats to the former Trojan!
