Facetiousness of that line aside, Garrett might be a little too forgiving when it comes to his teammate, disgraced quarterback Deshaun Watson. However , I think it's a pretty low bar to clear for any given human to feel they have the edge re: moral high ground on Deshaun Watson. The notion that Watson does "pretty much everything right" and has been a model citizen from his days at Clemson to also the pros" is where I can't wrap my head around this. Myles, you're dunking on yourself. This was 100% avoidable. What does Watson do right ? If it's not playing football well or acting remotely appropriate toward women, what is it? Those are two pretty significant demerits, sir! Calling out the fans and telling them nobody, whatever's happened on or off the field, deserves to be cheered when they're seriously injured, especially if it's their own player. Could've stopped it there. But no. The Browns' unique achievements in self-sabotage seem to have rubbed off on their biggest star. Get Myles Garrett out of Cleveland. Somebody come get him. Don't make him have to defend Deshaun Watson at the podium. Garrett is one of the best defenders of his generation.
