The Richmond men's golf team surged from ninth to fourth place at the Furman Intercollegiate, shooting a 7-under 277 on the final day—marking their lowest round of the season. After a challenging Round 1 with a score of 17-over (301), the team came back strong, finishing the last two rounds at 10-under par. Freshman Carson Baez led the team with a standout 6-under 65 in Round 3, placing him tied for 15th overall. Senior Cole Ekert also performed well, carding a 4-under 67 to finish at even par and tied for 19th. This outstanding performance marks the Spiders' fourth consecutive top-five finish in their season's events, the first time they've achieved this since 2010.
