Democratic vice presidential nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz attended a Sunday night fundraiser in Greenwich, Connecticut, after his plane landed at the Westchester County Airport. Walz attended the event hosted by Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont and other prominent Connecticut Democrats. Walz was surrounded by U.S. Secret Service agents as he made his first visit to Connecticut by a member of the Democratic ticket since Vice President Kamala Harris took over the campaign in July after President Joe Biden's decision to drop out of the race.
