BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The former Beckley home of former West Virginia Governor Hulett C. Smith is currently on fire.

The fire broke out late Sunday evening and multiple fire crews along with law enforcement are on the scene.

The residence is located just off Harper Road in Beckley near I-77.

Images from the Lootpress Sky Cam show the home to be fully engulfed in flames as of 10:15 PM.

It is currently unclear as to what caused the fire.

Governor Jim Justice purchased the 1953-built residence in 2012.
