This kid is 17 years old and shot a 14 year old 15 times .He knew that would probably kill him. Time to pay the piper . Charge him as an adult and put him away for the maximum time. I wish these kids would look at those in jail as just that those who screwed up. Not heroes or put on pedestals to be admired. I know we all make choices in life and sometimes it's not the best at that time. But they look at the quick money and think nothing about killing someone because they want to be emulate another badass . Well that badass that was in jail for 15 , 25 or longer had no life, crappy food , couldn't enjoy his freedom, was told when to eat and go to bed. Couldn't enjoy having a woman by his side or having a family of his own. If he did he missed everything his kids experienced. You think he worried about his boys he hung with or his family he misses. You pull that trigger for your gang or your friends they aren't going to visit you they will live their lives while you're in a cage.
