LOS ANGELES – No. 10 UCLA kept its Big Ten regular season title hopes alive after beating No. 15 Ohio State, 1-0, on Sunday at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. Senior Jayden Perry scored the game's only goal in the 61st minute on a penalty kick. The Bruins were awarded the penalty kick after Peyton Marcisz drove through traffic in the box. An Ohio State defender stepped in to clear but cleared it off a teammate's arm for a handball in the box. Perry, who entered the game with five career goals, all on penalty kicks, made it six with a perfectly-placed kick that broke the scoreless tie.
