Stephens Cup at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. The No. 13 Ducks will be one of six teams in the field, along with No. 1 Arkansas, No. 2 South Carolina, No. 9 Florida State, No. 17 Wake Forest and Oklahoma State. The tournament will begin with 36 holes of stroke play on Monday, followed by a final 18 holes of stroke play on Tuesday. The tournament will conclude with team match play on Wednesday. Golf Channel will have live coverage for three hours each day, beginning at 2 p.m. PT on Monday and 1 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Oregon holds a competitive record of 20-5-0 through two tournaments this season, placing second at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and fifth at the Windy City Collegiate Classic. 2024 Jackson T. Darae Chung (NA)Vinijchaitham, Romero Post Top-Five FinishesFreshman Suvichaya Vinijchaitham finished third overall and sophomore Kiara Romero tied for fifth as the Ducks closed its second tournament of the fall with a fifth-place showing at the Windy City Collegiate Classic earlier this month. Vinijchaitham, playing in just her second collegiate touranment, led all players with 15 total birdies and was one of just three players to finish under par, shooting 1-under par for the week on the strength of an even-par 70 in round one and a 2-under 70 in round two. Vinijchaitham has now shot par-or-better in four of her first six rounds as a Duck while posting back-to-back top-15 finishes. Romero bounced back from a 5-over 77 in round one to post consecutive 1-under 71s, giving her 28 par-or-better performances in 37 career rounds. Romero claimed her fourth career top-five finish. Ducks Surge to Second-Place Finish in Fall DebutOregon got its 2024-25 season off to a strong start at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, firing a terrific 7-under 281 in the final round to move up two spots and finish as the runner-up for the second year in a row. Four Ducks finished in the individual top 20, led by sophomore Karen Tsuru who shot par-or-better in all three rounds to tie for ninth overall at 3-under par. Tsuru closed the week with her best round as a Duck so far, going sub-70 for the first time with a 3-under 69. Freshman Suvichaya Vinijchaitham tied for 11th overall in her collegiate debut at 2-under par, shooting a 3-under 69 in the second round and a 2-under 70 in the final round. Sophomore Kiara Romero had Oregon's best round of the week with a 4-under 68 on the final day, powering her to a 15th-place finish at even par, and freshman Tong An was right behind in a tie for 16th at 1-over par in her first action as a Duck.Romero Leads Ducks Into 2024-25Kiara Romero put together one of the greatest seasons in program history in 2023-24 as a true freshman, becoming the first Duck ever to be named the WGCA Freshman of the Year while becoming just the second Duck to earn WGCA first-team all-America honors. Romero shattered the Oregon single-season&nbsp;record with a stellar 70.84 scoring average across 31 rounds of stroke play, and also broke the program record for birdies in a season with 118. She became the first Duck ever to shoot under par across a 72-hole tournament while leading Oregon into match play of the NCAA Championships, tying for sixth overall in stroke play at 4-under par. She captured two individual wins earlier in the season - including at the ANNIKA Intercollegaite in her collegiate debut - to become just the seventh Duck and third UO freshman to win multiple tournaments in a season. In 10 stroke play tournaments, Romero racked up nine top-20 finishes and six top-10 showings, and she shot par-or-better in 24 of 31 rounds. Romero was selected as a Golf Channel preseason first-team all-American entering her sophomore year while also landing on the preseason watch list for the Annika Award for the second year in a row, and she has catapulted up to No. 17 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.&nbsp;</div></body>
