Taylor Swift's Letter to Dave Portnoy Turns Heads Before Chiefs Game

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has a whirlwind of week together in New York City during the team's bye. However, Kelce and Swift won't been seen together for quite some time.

The pop star couldn't attend the Chiefs' Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 20, as Swift was performing her final Eras concert tour in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Before Kansas City defeated San Francisco 28-18 on Sunday, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who attended Swift's show on Saturday night, revealed he received a handwritten letter from Kelce's girlfriend.

Portnoy explained in a video posted on X that Swift's brother, Austin Swift, personally handed him the letter at the show.

The letter read, "Dave, I’m so happy to have you at the show tonight! I wanted to say thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when a lot of people didn’t.

“I hope you have a blast tonight!! Love, Taylor."

Portnoy said in the video, "Not everyone agrees on every issue, politics, whatever it may be, world views. Swifties is about love and support and Taylor." At the same time, Portnoy claimed he could "probably" get a Swiftie who doesn't like him banned from future concerts.

Swift's letter to Portnoy appears to be in response to for his support of her music and his comment about the 34-year-old endorsing Kamala Harris for president.

He posted on X last month, 'As the king of the Swifties people are asking me what I think of her Kamala endorsement. I don't care at all. People can vote for whoever they want in this country. How somebody votes will never change my opinion of a person. I'm voting the other way but to each their own."

Numerous Swifties weren't thrilled with Swift's letter to Portnoy.  One fan posted, "taylor giving dave portnoy a letter is quite disappointing ngl."

Another person added , "Him going to the eras tour and getting a letter from her is my villain origin story. This POS deserves nothing good."
