Chris Hoy, a six-time Olympic gold medalist, has shared that his cancer is terminal. At 48, the cyclist revealed that doctors have given him two to four years to live after his diagnosis earlier this year. Initially seeking medical help for shoulder pain, Hoy discovered he had stage 4 prostate cancer that had spread to his bones, affecting his shoulder, pelvis, spine, and more.

Despite the prognosis, Hoy, who is also a BBC commentator, began treatment, including chemotherapy, and returned to work by July. He also revealed that his wife, Sarra, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis just weeks before his own diagnosis.

Hoy reflected on the inevitability of life and death, emphasizing the importance of appreciating the time he has. Known for his Olympic triumphs, Hoy remains positive and continues to enjoy life, riding his bike and working, finding happiness in the simple things.
