Although decreasing winds have provided some margin of safety, large portions of Wisconsin are still at elevated risk of wildfire. The National Weather Service says that the major concern today is along and west of the I-39/90 corridor, however Sheboygan County, along with all others except those in the southeast corner of the State, are experiencing at least “high” fire danger according to the Wisconsin DNR’s Wisburn website.
