The training is free and all necessary equipment will be provided. APPLICANTS MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND PRE-REGISTER AT: https://louisianaoutdoors.com/Harvest Time at the Farm. Enjoy a fun evening for the whole family at the Red River Research Station (Home of The Big Red Barn) in Bossier City on October 26 from 5-8pm. Activities include best costume contest, kid’s crafts, corn pit, Tractor Treat, and learn about bats and spiders. There will also be an outdoor movie projected on the Big Red Barn with popcorn and a nighttime hayride with hot chocolate. Admission is FREE. Bring your blanket or chairs. The Village of Hall Summit will host their 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 26 from 5-7pm at the Hall Summit Community Center &amp; Park. The fun includes a costume contest, games and lots of candy!Martin Baptist Church Kids Connection is holding a cookbook fundraiser. Preorders are being taken and they will be delivered before Christmas. Contact the church to preorder. Clara Springs Baptist Camp is in need of volunteers to help split firewood. Clara Springs uses a lot of firewood during the year for campfires for s’mores, singing around the campfire, etc. A splitter and wood will be provided–just need the manpower.
