The Wyoming football team fell 24-14 at the hands of San Jose State on Saturday. Following the game, members of Wyoming returned to the locker room to find out that they had personal items stolen, according to NBC Bay Area .

According to San Jose State University police, 10 Wyoming players reported that they had personal items and sports gear stolen from the locker room.

Athletes and coaching staff members from other programs at San Jose State also stated that they don't leave their personal items in the locker room while at practice.

"Even here, when we go out to practice, we make sure we don't leave our valuables. It sucks," San Jose State lacrosse player Aaron Escobar told NBC Bay Area. "We don't want to be known for that."

"That's heartbreaking to lose personal stuff, especially when you're on the road and have nothing else with you," San Jose State lacrosse coach Derek de Lemos added.

Police haven't said whether cell phones, laptops or wallets were among the personal items that were stolen. San Jose State University police plan to check surveillance cameras in an effort to find the suspects.

On the gridiron, Wyoming ended up falling behind 14-0 despite securing three turnovers in the first half. The Cowboys did score two second half touchdowns, but found themselves in too big of a hole to dig out of. Meanwhile, San Jose State tallied 498 yards of total offense, including 322 through the air.
