Taylor Swift 's massive Eras Tour is getting ready to end its U.S. run with a trio of shows at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium .

Tickets for this tour have been difficult to come by , especially for fans looking to avoid marked-up resale seats. But for a dedicated few, face-value tickets may still be possible. The tour is known to do additional ticket drops in the days and hours leading up to each show, giving fans the opportunity to take their chances once again with the Ticketmaster queues.

Some very dedicated fans, X users @inmygreatwarera , @erastourticketz and @Kat_AF13 , have studied these last-minute drops closely, and they've shared on social media how fans can prepare themselves for additional ticket releases.

Here's what you need to know.

How to get access to last-minute Taylor Swift ticket drops

Additional ticket drops for the Miami shows followed similar patterns to previous U.S. legs of the tour, @inmygreatwarera posted. According to the feed, the drops are unannounced, do not have notifications or reminders and don't require a code to access.

Access to Ticketmaster's additional ticket sales appear to be restricted to just those accounts that received codes as Verified Fans during the tour's initial onsale, @inmygreatwarera posted , and to those who were waitlisted.

Those who know they're Verified Fans can essentially pull up the Ticketmaster landing page for the night of the show you're trying to get into and wait. As the window of time where suspected drops approaches, keep refreshing. You may get lucky enough to get into a queue.

This TikTok user, @nashs_mom , breaks down ticket drops in this five-minute video:

When last-minute Eras Tour ticket drops might happen

In the case of the Miami shows, accounts that were given access to additional drops before Night 1 were also given access to drops in nights 2 and 3, meaning these users, if they are allowed access and jump in the queue early enough, could have had access to as many as 12 tickets over the three nights (if purchasing the four-ticket maximum).

Taylor Swift is coming to Indianapolis: Here's all the must-know details

When observing additional ticket drops for shows in summer 2023 , releases happened about 26 hours before the first night of the show, and again the day of. The earliest ticket drop for those shows was the Detroit show, at 5:07 p.m. the Thursday before Night 1.

On the day of Night 1, ticket drops happened as early as 1:49 p.m. in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and as late as 6:12 p.m. in Minneapolis.

The midweek ticket drops often occur during stage set-up, when the venue and tour have a clearer idea of how the space is going to be used and if any seats can be added.

What seats can I get in last-minute Eras Tour ticket drops?

It can be difficult to predict which seats will be released. For instance, @inmygreatwarera posted , obstructed-view and standing room only seats in Los Angeles were dropped two nights before Night 1. The night before Night 1, the last-minute drop included floor seats. Ultimately, fans won't know what's available until the tickets are released.

Accounts could enter each queue only once for each night, so attempting to enter the queue from the same account on multiple devices can get you kicked to the back of the line, @inmygreatwarera posted.

Taylor Swift ticket prices in Indianapolis

With just under two weeks to go until the first evening of the three-night stop, resale ticket prices are falling, but still steep .

As of Oct. 21, the cheapest pair of tickets available was via reseller Vivid Seats for the Nov. 3 show, priced at $1,552 apiece.

Tickets were also available via resale sites StubHub and Seat Geek , starting between $1,618 and $1,946 apiece. On TickPick, where prices include fees, the cheapest single ticket for Night 1 is $2,183.

That's a substantial drop compared to just a few weeks ago. A pair of floor tickets that cost $12,741 apiece in early September is still available for $9,870 each via StubHub.

For what it's worth, when it comes to resale tickets in cities with three-night stops, @inmygreatwarera has observed that prices tend to be the highest for Night 3 and the cheapest for Night 1.

    Ticketmaster ticket transfer delays

In response to ticket scams involving Swift's shows, Ticketmaster has changed the way fans can transfer tickets between accounts.

Ticket transfers to Swift's shows are now restricted to a 72-hour window before the event, Ticketmaster announced earlier this month. Previously, fans were able to swap tickets at any time.
