Stubborn summer temps soaring back to SE Texas

HOUSTON , Texas ( KIAH ) – After a brief visit by seasonable fall weather last week, summer-like weather will be returning to Southeast Texas through this week. High temperatures should be in the lower 80s, but this week’s afternoon high temperatures are expected to push the 90 degree mark before the weekend arrives. A cold front will flirt with the area by Saturday and Sunday, bring a slight chance of rain and knock temperatures down closer to where they should be this time of year.
