Windy Wednesday after more summer-like warmth today

Happy Tuesday! Temperatures are mildly in the 40s/50s alongside a few clouds and calm winds. There’s the opportunity to experience localized dense fog for the morning drive as well, so make sure you’re taking it extra easy around places like Adirondack Park and across river valley communities.

A warm front will continue to lift to the northeast this afternoon with mostly sunny skies, brisk south breezes, and highs nearing record territory for some. We will manage the middle to upper 70s today before flopping back into the 50s overnight through Wednesday morning.

We’ll start Wednesday with some sunshine and dry skies but eventually our attention will turn to an incoming cold front for the afternoon. Highs will top out in the 70s one last time Wednesday afternoon before partly to mostly cloudy skies arrive late in the day.

Thereafter, isolated showers/downpours and blustery south to northwest winds will become likely for everyone Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Lows will dip into the 40s.
