FREEPORT, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Kim Caudill has been the bookkeeper at Freeport High School for 15 years now.

When you talk to staff and students around the school their faces light up when Kim’s name is mentioned.

“I’ve never met anybody that is as dependable as Kim Caudill,” said Freeport High School Student Success Coach Russell Phillips. “If you ask her to do anything you know she’s going to take care of it. Then she’s going to take care of things that are outside of her responsibility every day as well.”

Arnold High School teacher uses past lessons to her benefit

For Caudill herself, the reason behind her passion and love for Freeport High can be attributed right back to her fellow staff members.

“I love working with everyone here at the high school,” Caudill said. “I’ve been here for 15 years and like I said, they’re like family. I mean, there’s some days that are rougher than others, but overall, everyone gets along really great and we love each other here.”

Caudill is so good at her job that her co-workers believe she is a large reason why some staff stay at Freeport.

“I’m pretty sure here are people that stay here because of Mrs. Caudill, because she handles all staff appreciation, she handles every single gift for a staff member,” Phillips added. “If something happens to a staff member, she’s always the first one there to make sure they are taken care of.”

No matter the situation or responsibility, Caudill will do everything in her power to put others first.

“I try to go above and beyond. 110% of what I do, I try to make sure I do it right and stay by the rules and be supportive of everyone,” Caudill went on to say.

That is what makes Kim Caudill a Class Act.

As always if there is someone out there who you think is a Class Act don’t hesitate to nominate them today .
