COLUMBIA — South Carolina women's basketball sophomore guard MiLaysia Fulwiley displayed her acting talent in a new video with four-time NBA champion Steph Curry.

The promotional video posted to social media featured Curry talking about the design and background for his latest shoes, the "Curry 12 Gravity" and to end the video, Fulwiley says "wait, someone say 12?" a nod to Fulwiley's jersey number for South Carolina.

In March, Fulwiley became the first college athlete to sign with Curry Brand, the two-time NBA MVP's line of Under Armor gear and shoes.

Fulwiley averaged 11.7 points per game last season and was named to the SEC All-Freshman team, SEC Tournament MVP and SEC All-Tournament Team. She broke a program records for most games played by a freshman (38) and best free throw percentage by a freshman (78%).

According to a press release , Fulwiley has been wearing Curry Brand for most of her life, and played one year of AAU basketball for Team Curry, the team sponsored by Curry and Curry Brand based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“When it comes to the ability to change the game for good, nobody can speak to that more than MiLaysia. She’s changing the women’s game on the fly with how she plays and moves on the court," Curry said of Fulwiley in the news release in March.

"She has a unique style and flow to her game that I don’t think many people have seen in a long time. She was a part of Curry Camp, is a Team Curry alumni, and is currently playing at an Under Armour school, so there are just so many great tie-ins to the Under Armour family, and partnering with her and Curry Brand is such a special opportunity. I’m humbled that she is now a part of the family.”
