    Pinpoint Weather: Warm Wednesday, then cooler

    ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) — Warm air will remain in place for Wednesday as the region sits ahead of a cold front.

    Temperatures will rise into the 70s and 80s on Wednesday after starting in the 40s.

    A cold front will move through the region Wednesday evening. Winds will pick up slightly behind the front Wednesday night.

    Most of the region will remain dry with a couple of showers possible in the Highlands.

    Behind the front, temperatures will fall back into the low to mid-70s through Saturday. Another front moves through Saturday with a few showers possible. Temperatures will only top out in the 60s starting on Sunday.
