    Dothan sends extra help to South Carolina, Florida for Hurricane restoration

    DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan Utlities is sending extra tools to help areas in the southeast restore power from hurricanes Helene and Milton.

    They agreed to help co-ops in Newberry, South Carolina, and Ocala and Bartow Florida.

    Dothan utilities will be sending an extra crew, utility trucks and equipment.

    City officials say its great to have a mutual agreement with others to help them return to normalcy.
