    Man killed in shooting in northwest Las Vegas valley

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after a shooting in the northwest Las Vegas valley, according to Metro police.

    On Tuesday around 9 p.m., Metro police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance and shooting at a home near Elkhorn Road and Hualapai Way.

    When officers arrived they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

    Police detained a man at the scene. No additional details are available at this time. Stay with 8 News Now for updates.
