Nine women will be recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) next month for their outstanding leadership and accomplishments in clean energy with 2024 Clean Energy Education & Empowerment (C3E) Awards. The C3E Initiative aims to close the gender gap and increase the participation, leadership, and success of women in clean energy fields. In its 13th year, the C3E Initiative is led by DOE in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Energy Initiative, Stanford University’s Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory at Arizona State University.
